Pipe & channel cleaning nozzles
Tier 3 - High Efficient
Tier 3 pipe cleaning nozzle was firstly designed by Bo Larsson, one of the founders of AquaTeq®, already 1973. He was at that time working as a contractor in Sweden and bought one of the first jetting units in Sweden. He quickly realized the waste of lost energy by using a Tier 1 or Tier 2 nozzle. He therefore contacted a professor at Lunds university who helped him design the GOBLIN® series of nozzles – the Tier 3 nozzle was born. With the design changes made on the GOBLIN® he was now able to clean pipes twice as effective as his competitors, with a 50% reduction of used time with nozzle in pipe.
Tier 3 pipe cleaning (storm, sewer) nozzles have water-conducting designs and are equipped with replaceable jet orifices for easy adaptation to different pump capacities.
Tier 3 types of nozzles, the thrusting jets are normally angled between 0-30 degrees from the cleaning hose attachment and are supplied with one or several front jets, which easily be plugged.
Many nozzle manufacturers have through the years tried to copy the design, but the cleaning ability of the copies have been quite poor due to the lack of technical understanding of the design.
We at AquaTeq® still keep these secrets.

GOBLIN® 0° + 2°

Description
GOBLIN® with 0˚ + 2˚ degrees rear jets comes in two sizes. The smaller version has a weight of 5,5 kg (12 lbs) and the larger version has a weight of 7,5 kg (17 lbs). Both versions are supplied with 10 rear jets, where every second is 0˚ and the other is 2˚. The nozzles have an option of one front jet.
Like all nozzles included in the GOBLIN® series they can handle both fresh and recycling water. Using recycling water, the nozzle is always supplied with wear resistant ceramic jet inserts for long service lifetime. The nozzle body is made in quality hardened stainless steel to stand wear.
GOBLIN® with low combined angles on the rearward-facing water jets are developed to move materials. We recommend GOBLIN® especially in dry pipe conditions where a nozzle with higher angles and fewer water jets makes strips. GOBLIN® with low angles can also be used to flush out heavy stones or other objects in pipes where a bottom-cleaner nozzle can´t pass.
The design of the GOBLIN® implicate that it normally can pass larger objects in pipe travelling upstream. When retracting the nozzle from upstream manhole, the GOBLIN ® create great force to move the heavy object.
Both versions of 0˚+2˚ GOBLIN is recommended in pipe sizes from 150 up to 400 mm (6”-16”), the larger version is suited for more pressure and water flow.

GOBLIN® 0° + 5°

Description
GOBLIN® 0˚ + 5˚ degrees with 10 rear jets (one front jet optional), is often used to removal heavy material where the 10 jets avoid making stripes in pipe. We have many times supplied this nozzle with a centralizing sled allowing the nozzle to clean evenly 360˚ around the pipe. Three versions are available. The light version har a weight of 1,6 kg (3,5 lbs), medium version has a weight of 5,5 kg (12 lbs) and the heavy version has a weight of 7,5 kg (17 lbs).
The nozzle is made off quality stainless steel, harden to stand wear, and can work with booth fresh and recycling water. Set up for recycling water the nozzle is always supplied with ceramic jet inserts.
GOBLIN® 0˚ + 5˚ combined angles is made for moving materials. A suitable application is cleaning of dry pipes, where material is packed and where nozzles with higher jet angles and fewer rear jet inserts will leave strips in pipe. The nozzle has a total force to move heavy objects in pipe compare with Grenade nozzles with higher jet angles.
The design of GOBLIN® allows nozzle passing larger objects travelling upstream, then to effectively move them being pulled back.
Both the medium and heavy versions of 0˚+5˚ GOBLIN is recommended in pipe sizes from 150 up to 500 mm (6”-20”), the larger version is suited for more pressure and water flow). If you wish your GOBLIN® to be supplied with a centralizing skid, please contact us or our partners.

GOBLIN® 10° + 30°

Description
GOBLIN® 10˚ + 30˚ has a wide range of uses and can be seen as a "universal pipe cleaning nozzle". This is due to the combination of 10˚ and 30˚ angles on the thrusting rear jets. The thrusting water jets with 30˚ angle clean the inside of the pipe. At the same time the 10˚ jets effectively thrust the nozzle up the pipe, while they at the same time efficiently move the material downstream. By mounting a front jet, GOBLIN® 10˚ + 30 can also be used for clogs or to remove obstacles in front of the nozzle.
The GOBLIN® 10˚ + 30˚ is made in Sweden, like all AquaTeqs´ pipe cleaning nozzles and cutters, in durable, high-quality, hardened stainless steel. This means that the cleaning nozzle is suitable for both fresh and recycled water. When using recycled water, ceramic jet inserts must be mounted.
If GOBLIN® 10˚ + 30˚ is used together with a ½” hose, the nozzle is suitable for cleaning pipes from Ø100 - 300 mm (4” -12”). Together with ¾” hose, GOBLIN® 10˚ + 30˚ can be set up for higher water flow rate and is then suitable to clean pipes from Ø100mm up to 400 mm (4” -16”).

GOBLIN® 15° + 30°

Description
Grenade or Bombs are the general working names in the business for this type of nozzle. The rear jet angles of 10˚ or 15˚degrees in combination with 30˚ is a very popular combination for general pipe cleaning. What does GOBLIN® 15˚ + 30˚ degrees offer in access to the standard Grenade or Bombs?
GOBLIN® is a Tier 3 nozzle with an inner design minimizing pressure loss and turbulent flows inside the nozzle. When water is pushed through GOBLIN® by the pump pressure the inner design provides a soft flowthrough guidance of the water. Compare with Standard nozzle with just a drilled inner hole, the turbulent flow inside nozzle is reduced with 20-30%. This means that you can operate your jetting truck at lower rpm saving money, wear, and tear and at the same time clean more efficiently. The secret of GOBLIN® design is the shape of an inner water divider that has been scientifically developed consider water flowrate passing through the nozzle. This results in powerful cleaning of sewage, drain water and stormwater pipes. The nozzles remove and transport material effectively in pipe.
The 15˚+30˚ GOBLIN® also comes in two versions. The small version has 8 rear jets with optional front jet. The weight of the nozzle is 5,3 kg (12 lbs).
The larger version was our first GOBLIN® already developed 1974. It has through the years been called different names. In European the name was NATAB for many years and in the USA the name has been GOBLIN® GREASE EATER for the past 15 years. Since we, the past years, have expanded the GOBLIN® series the name is now simple GOBLIN®L.
This larger version is normally supplied with wear body. The wear body lifts the nozzle from the bottom of the pipe which allows the rear jets to travel further behind the nozzle before hitting the pipe inner wall. The nozzle has also optional 4 front jets, which makes this nozzle the perfect tool for clogged pipes or to be used for example cleaning roots from debris before performing a cutting job with a root cutter. The weight of GOBLIN®L is 7,6 kg (17 lbs) including the wear body.
The smaller version 15˚+30˚ GOBLIN is recommended for pipe sizes from 150 up to 400 mm (6”-16”). The GOBLIN®L is suitable for pipe with inner diameter of 200 mm up to 800 mm pipes (8”-32”).
